RDR Has U Stamp (Design/Manufacture), and R Stamp (Repair) Certifications From the American Society of Engineers (ASME).

The ASME U Stamp Certifies:

  • RDR USG’s quality control system adheres to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)
  • RDR USG has a quality control system in place to ensure the pressure vessel is designed, fabricated, inspected, and tested according to the BPVC.
  • A RDR USG pressure vessel meets the ASME standards and can be safely used in its intended application.
  • The U stamp demonstrates a commitment to safety and quality, reducing the risk of operational failures and accidents.
  • Many insurance companies require ASME certification, and the U stamp helps ensure compliance with these requirements, potentially leading to lower insurance premiums and reducing legal exposure.

The ASME R Stamp Certifies:

  • The ASME R stamp indicates that a RDR USG is authorized by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to perform repairs and alterations on boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items. It signifies compliance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC).
  • The R stamp means that RDR USG is certified to make repairs to pressure vessels that are built and stamped to ASME codes, ensuring that the repairs are done to the same high standards as the original construction.
  • Repairs and alterations to existing boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items can be made by RDR USG in field or shop locations.
