Our Utility Line Repair and Maintenance division offers pigging services to our customers and has been for several years now. Pigging is a form of flow assurance where pipeline pigs are used to purge, clean, and/or inspect pipelines to keep them running smoothly.

Prior to the beginning of the pigging process, our employees will perform pipeline valve lockout and will inspect the pipe visually in order to establish if there are any impurities that can be seen and to ensure that all valve fittings are tight. To complete the pigging process, we install a pig launch (if needed) and prepare the field and personnel for the process. After the pig is received at the opposite end, air pressure is relieved and verification of pig’s arrival is completed.
